LeapTrack - Learning Path and Skill Cards

Symptom / Question
My Skill Cards are not scoring correctly and are not being removed from the Student Learning Path.

Solution
If a student has successfully completed a skill card on their prescribed Learning Path and it is not being recognized by the LeapTrack system as "completed", please check the following:
  • Student has completed both sides of the skill card.

  • Student has turned their LeapPad PLT "off" before removing the cartridge from the unit.

  • The students score is above the adjustable threshold of 'Minimum Score to Remove from Learning Path' setting found in the Teacher Preferences section of the 'My Class' screen.

If the above parameters are met and the skill card is still not being removed:

  • Manually remove the Skill Card from the student Learning Path by selecting the student name in the class list on the 'My Class' screen and clicking the 'Edit Learning Path' button. This will allow you to remove the skill card from the student Learning Path. Remember to reload the Learning Path onto the cartridge to ensure removal of the skill card.

or

  • Reload the student Learning Path onto the cartridge and have the student re-take the skill card.
