LeapDesk™ Workstation version 2.0 - Cartridge Troubleshooting



Symptom / Question
When I turn on my LeapDesk, it just makes a honking sound.

Solution
The LeapDesk will honk when turned on if the cartridge is not inserted correctly in the back of the LeapDesk.
  • Ensure that your LeapDesk cartridge is inserted with the label facing up.
  • Ensure that your LeapDesk cartridge is seated firmly in the cartridge connection slot at the rear of the LeapDesk Workstation.
  • Ensure that you are connected to AC adapter power or have installed known good batteries.
    If the above do not resolve the honking sound, please re-image your LeapDesk 2.0 cartridge. Instructions on re-imaging or restoring cartridge backups can be found here.
